Caring for your disabled child takes a lot of work, and there are many areas that you need to work on in order to be able to be the best parent that you can become. However, you don’t have to go at it alone, and there are numerous resources available to help you with every aspect of your life. So, I decided to help you out by sharing some of the resources I¬† have used to improve my own life and begin taking control of my time, mind, emotions, finances, and life in general.

Over the years, I have used a lot of resources to learn the strategies and tactics that I share in my articles and podcasts. Although I wish I could remember every single one, I simply don’t remember all the books and tapes I have gone through over the years. However, I want to share some of the ones that have had the biggest impact on me, and that are on my own bookshelf.

I hope these are helpful to you in creating the life that you want for yourself and your family.

Developing Your Mind and Emotions

Amazing Self –This online program was created by my mentor Mark Ling. In the course, he and his team teach strategies for better health, improving your relationships, and creating wealth, even if you are struggling right now. When I started this program, I was in debt, gaining weight, and living an unhealthy lifestyle. Now I am more fit physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Although it isn’t specifically a program about living with a disabled child, there are many strategies that I have found extremely helpful in managing my time, my health, and improving our finances.

Also, check out our local resources for specific help with many issues that will help you with managing day to day affairs.

Right now we only have resources for the Austin Tx area, and this list is growing every week (since that is where we live). However, we are researching more resources for major areas around the country and around the world. All the research will take a while, so we will update the list with new pages as we go.

We will be updating this page regularly as we find new resources to help you take better control over your life so bookmark this page and check back often.

(if you have resources that you think we should add, or if you have a great list in your local area, feel free to contact us so that we can check them out…)
